don't be fooled by the pic, there's a hidden layer of all the "good stuff" on the bottom. you may also be wondering about the pie crust... not typical for cheesecake, but it's GOOD. promise!
TURTLE CHEESECAKE (serves 8)
1 frozen pie crust
1/3 c caramel ice cream topping
1/4 c pecan pieces
1/4 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1/4 c sugar
preheat baking sheet in oven at 400 degrees. mix caramel, pecans, and chocolate chips in bottom of the pie crust. beat cream cheese, egg, and sugar until smooth and carefully spread over caramel mix in crust. bake for 25-30 minutes until it begins to brown. cool completely in the fridge.
